Serves 6 People
1 Bag of “Beef” Plant Protein
1 Whole Cauliflower
1 Cup of Peas
1 Cup of Corn
3 Whole Carrots
1/2 an Onion
1/2 Cup of Mushrooms
1 Cup of Vegan Cheddar Cheese
1 Teaspoon of Hot Sauce
Salt, Pepper, Garlic Powder
Preheat oven to 375 degrees
In a large sauce pan our the contents of the whole bag of plant protein beef – cook only half way through, then add 1 teaspoon of your choice of hotsauce. With a food processor, finally chop cauliflower adding pepper & salt to taste.
Layers from bottom to top should be: Beef, Vegetables, Cauliflower, then Cheese.
Smooth the beef evenly to the bottom of a large baking dish – Season the “meat” with Montreal Steak Seasoning. Proceed to add the corn, peas, graded carrots & chopped mushrooms. Lightly dust salt & pepper over vegetables. Lastly, add the chopped cauliflower with garlic powder seasoning.
Usually vegan cheese can be very rich in taste. A good handful sprinkled on top should be enough not to over-power the dish.
Pop in the oven for 25-30 minutes & enjoy!
I’m a vegetarian. This recipe sounds yummy. Cauliflower is one of my favorites. Peas, not so much. I’ve never tried vegan cheese, but will look for it.
Nowadays, you can find such deliciousness in most all stores.
